 Cristiano Ronaldo, full name Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, is a Portuguese professional soccer player. He was born on February 5, 1985, in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. Ronaldo began his career as a youth player for Nacional and later moved to Sporting CP, where he caught the attention of scouts from major European clubs. In 2003, he signed with Manchester United, where he won three Premier League titles and one UEFA Champions League before moving to Real Madrid in 2009 for a then-world record transfer fee of $131 million.



At Real Madrid, Ronaldo established himself as one of the best players in the world, winning four Champions Leagues and two La Liga titles. He also won four Ballon d'Or awards during his time with the club. In 2018, Ronaldo signed with Juventus, where he won two Serie A titles. In 2021, Ronaldo signed with Manchester United again.
